Hi,
I am not using the Framework Execution model but using MarketOrder for buying. When doing live trading with Interactive Brokers, the order is being executed in chunks.
Is this the default behavior or do I have to set an execution model? Reason I am asking is because splitting the order up seems to increase the commissions fees.

Hi Pranava,
This is because if quantity of an order doesn't have a counterpart with the same or more shares, the order will be taken by multiple counterparts.
