Hi all;
Is there a way to set the system to text me when a backtest or optimize completes? That way I don't have to keep checking it as these things can take a looooong time.
thanks - dave

Hi Dave,
As far as I know this is not currently possible, but so far I've found the estimated time it takes to be quite accurate atleast with the optimizations that I've run so far.
I get how this is frustrating, so thank you for your patience and hopefully someone knows a “hack” for this, although I highly doubt it.
Thanks!

Hi Mak;
Unfortunately for me the estimates are way off. Estimate 2 minutes, actual 28 minutes for example.
Hopefully they'll add this in the future.
thanks - dave

We had a slow data system issue this morning. Hopefully, your backtest and estimates are back to what you expect.
Sending an email or SMS on finishing a backtest is a great idea!

Hi David,
A hack could be to use some webpage monitoring tool such as Monitoro and hook it up to IFTTT, or just a plain webpage monitoring tool without IFTTT support but which can send email/sms and monitor every minute or so… Or use some extension for your browser such as Distill.

.ekz.
I like the way you think Fred Painchaud! That's very much something I would do. 😎
