Hey, everybody, I been trading for about 2 years now but just recently learned the basics of python and algo trading I'm still struggling and would really appreciate some general help and tips. My goal is to create my own algo and if it works then go live.

start reading the documentation here and then clone some of other peoples algos in the forums and mess with them. that's how i taught myself in 3 weeks.

Last but not least, the documentation on QuantConnect should be able to answer most, if not all of your early questions. It is built in chronological order and goes quite in-depth, providing sample code for every topic discussed.
