For those of us who are interested in 'gray box' trading (calculate quant signal, execute manually), does QuantConenct support regular automated signal recalculation? For example if I define my own indicator, can I as QuantConnect to run the latest calculation every Wednesday at 2PM and then send an email etc.?

Alphas that generate signals are by default calculated every time there is new data incoming, but there's nothing stopping you from specifying that they only calculate at a fixed time and day of week. Sending emails can be accomplished by Notify.Email.
