QUANTCONNECT COMMUNITY
Hi everyone,
I am attempting to find the stocks that have gained the most after-hours upon opening. I've used a couple methods such as self.History and such but i can't seem to get results consistently. Does anyone know of a good way to get the stocks increase from 4PM - Open of the next day?

Hi Nathan,
You can use a scheduled event to store the value of the price at market close and then compare it to the price when the market reopens. The Fading the Gap boot camp actually covers this topic by creating a strategy which captures on large differences between previous close and market open.
