Assistants
Conductor
How It Works
When you arrive with an idea, the Conductor sharpens it into a brief an assistant can run with, then routes it to the right assistant on the team. When you arrive empty-handed, it pulls the next candidate from your Research Pipeline, and when the backlog is empty, it reads recent financial news and trading blogs to generate a fresh, specific, testable strategy and adds it to the Ideas column of your Research Pipeline. The Conductor checks the existing cards on your pipeline first, so you can avoid filling up your pipeline with duplicate projects.
What It Does
The Conductor coordinates six specialized assistants rather than picking up the tools itself. The Ideas Assistant keeps the Research Pipeline stocked by sourcing fresh, testable strategy ideas from recent financial news and trading blog posts. The Research Assistant is the default starting point on a new idea and runs statistical validation inside a notebook, then the Research Validation Assistant pressure-tests the statistical properties and underlying logic. From there, the Backtesting Assistant turns the validated idea into a QuantConnect algorithm. The Paper Testing Assistant deploys the result and watches for divergence and performance drift as it heads toward consideration for live capital. Once a strategy is live, the Live Monitoring Assistant keeps an eye on the active positions and flags material adverse events that genuinely need your attention.
What You Get
You describe what you want to test, and the Conductor autonomously moves it through research, validation, backtesting, and paper trading. The specialists work in parallel while the Conductor gives them room to think and pulls the threads together as results come back, so the workflow keeps advancing without you assigning a single task by hand.
