I am new to coding and I am attempting to code a XAUUSD trading bot that places a BUY position every time a Hourly Hammer candle stick is formed, and a SELL position every time a Hourly shooting star (inverted Hammer) is formed. I have been searching for 3 WEEKS for information and examples on how to do this and have found little to nothing and what I have found hasn't worked. If there is anyone who has coded anything like this before and can post an example or knows where I can found useful information to help or can show me where I went wrong in my code. it would be a BIIIG help and much appreciated. I attached the code that I have got soo far.

I think the indicator works as follows:
As soon as there is a hammer in the chart, the indicator value jumps to one, otherwise it stays low.
Meaning that the code will just invest if there is the candlestick pattern. Now you would need to adjust when you want it to sell.
