Hello,
I'm trying to study what happens to a crypto when it gets listed on an exchange platform.
I'm new to this site, so I still need to learn a lot. I've included some code below.
I'm getting some results when I'm selecting an earlier start date… Also looking through history to find the date the crypto was first listed seems to generate a lot of computation time…
Any ideas?

Hey ericdes,
if you want to do some research and study how crypto moves I would do the following:
Do the whole thing in the research notebook. Request history for the crypto symbols. Find a website where the start dates of the cryptos you want to analyze are stored.
With the requested history you then can study how it moves.
I'm currently not at my workstation, if you need more assistance don’t hesitate to ask :)
Hope it helps ;)

I found on a website that this request returns the candle info on the first day of trading on Binance: (example with BTC), the first field being the date.
https://api.binance.com/api/v1/klines?symbol=BTCUSDT&interval=1m&startTime=0
Is threre a way to do such a request via History()?

Hey ericdes,
if you know the start date of the symbol then you can simply do this:
Hope it helps ;)

I would like to perform an auto-discovery of the start dates of the platform listing of all cryptos.
Nico Xenox
Hey ericdes,
this code does a auto discovery and saves them into a dictionary. After this you can work with the code already provided. (you can change the assets in the list)
Hope it helps ;)
