I have ran into this issue many times. I have a ipynb in my vscode workspace, I have autosave on, and i have mannually clicked save each time i make some progress because ik this problem exist. But my progress is STILL LOST????

Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue of progress being lost in a Jupyter notebook within VSCode:
Verify AutoSave Settings:
File>Auto Saveand ensure it's enabled and set to your preferred interval.Check the Save Location:
Inspect the Output Panel:
Ctrl + Shift + Uto open the VSCode Output panel. Check for any errors or warnings related to file saving.Update VSCode and Extensions:
Test with a New File:
Look for Conflicting Extensions:
Reset VSCode Settings:
By following these steps, you should be able to identify and resolve the issue causing your progress to be lost.
