The schelude uses the algorithm TimeZone, IIRC the default time zone is EST.
You can define the lagorithm's time zone by using SetTimeZone in the Initialize method.
In fact, the default time zone is New York.
We can checkout the timezone for each symbol (or group of symbols) in the market hours database file.
Thanks! Can anyone attach a backtest with SetTimeZone set to CST (UTC-5)? I don't think im using it correctly.
I'm getting an error to go here for time zones:
We need to use NodaTime.DateTimeZones as a parameter.
SetTimeZone(TimeZones.Chicao);
Alternatively, we can use a string:
SetTimeZone("America/Chicago");
