Summary
I am running a live trading strategy through QuantConnect, connected to an Alpaca brokerage account.
I believe there may be an issue with how QuantConnect handles reverse stock splits/corporate actions in an Alpaca live deployment.
The stock GOSS (Gossamer Bio) underwent an 80-for-1 reverse stock split on September 11, 2026.
Alpaca correctly reflected the reverse split in the brokerage account, but QuantConnect's Live Deployment did not correctly update the corresponding share quantity in Holdings.
Observed Behavior
After the reverse split:
- Alpaca correctly reflected the 80-for-1 reverse split. Alpaca Quantity is from 2500 to 31.25 shares.

2. The GOSS market price displayed by QuantConnect was already adjusted to the post-split price.Quantconnect Quantity is still 2500 shares.
However, the GOSS quantity shown in QuantConnect Live Holdings was not adjusted according to the 80-for-1 reverse split.

As a result, QuantConnect appears to be using the post-split price together with the pre-split share quantity when calculating the portfolio value.
3. This causes the reported Equity value to be significantly inflated and incorrect.
In other words, the price appears to have been adjusted for the corporate action, but the corresponding Holdings quantity was not.
Expected Behavior
When an 80-for-1 reverse split occurs, the live portfolio should reflect the corresponding reduction in share quantity.
For example, if the account held 8,000 shares before the reverse split, the post-split position should be approximately:
2500 / 80 = 31.25 shares
The portfolio valuation should then use:
Post-split price × Post-split share quantity
rather than:
Post-split price × Pre-split share quantity
Why This Is Important
This is occurring in a live trading deployment, so the incorrect Holdings/Equity value could potentially affect portfolio calculations, position sizing, risk management, and subsequent trading decisions.
The discrepancy is particularly concerning because the brokerage account (Alpaca) appears to have processed the corporate action correctly, while the QuantConnect Live Deployment does not appear to have synchronized the corresponding position quantity.

Request
Could the QuantConnect team please confirm whether this is a known issue with:
Corporate-action processing in Live Trading;
Synchronization between Alpaca and QuantConnect Holdings; or
Reverse-split handling in the Alpaca brokerage integration?
If this is a bug, I would appreciate confirmation and guidance on how the live portfolio should be reconciled safely.
I can provide screenshots of the Alpaca account, QuantConnect Live Deployment, Holdings, and relevant logs if needed.
Thank you.
BTW: the 'Send Support' button doesn't work.
