Plot Indicator on 15m timeframe

Hi,
I'm trying to plot Bollinger Bands on a 15m timeframe using Forex EUR/USD pair. Seem pretty straightforward; however, I keep getting a RunTime Error stating "This is a forward only indicator".

Can anyone help?

Just wanted to point out that if I used a Daily Timespan for the Bollinger Bands, it works fine. Not sure why I am unable to get the Bollinger Band indicator to work at 15m intervals.

Hey Gene!

It looks like you're 'double' subscribing the indicator for updates. This means the indicator was receiving updates from your minute data stream as well as your fifteen minute data stream. When using the helper functions (such as BB(...)) we'll manually create a consolidator in order to provide the indicator with automatic updates. If you want to manually use a consolidator (for 15 min bars) you can't use the helper function. Instead you'll need to manually create the indicator as well:_bb = new BollingerBands(14, 1, MovingAverageType.Simple);
And then register the indicator as you've already done.

Michael,
Thanks so much for the clarification. I'm moving over from Quantopian, so getting used to the new C# based platform is an interesting challenge.
