Hey Yanki, they are required to login with IB as IB doesn't have an OAuth mechanism. You can pair it with 2FA at IB and so your account can only be accessed by replying to the IB-2FA system.Â
The account access is also limited to trading and not withdrawals, so if there was a breach, and they somehow get your 2FA device, then they could only place trades on your behalf.Â
The details are never saved in the QC database; it is only ever passed through to the live server you're running and we employ all modern security practices to ensure it's as safe as possible.Â
