QUANTCONNECT COMMUNITY
Is it possible to trigger algorithm from outside? I would like to create orders through QuantConnect to Interactive Brokers but have an external entry signal trigger? Is that possible? There were some Dropbox integrations but I'd like to make REST calls etc. or find an alternative method to notify QuantConnect Algorithm to create an order.

It is possible to manually add a position in the live deployment panel.
Alternatively, you can also create an order by importing and reading custom data to include order detail as triggers in OnData method.
