So I went through boot camp - code is straight forward and it is easy to understand.
Now I am completely lost and have no clue what to do. What's the next step?
Looking to create a bot, that will find momentum stocks, identify patterns, apply “buying high and selling higher" strategy…
Algorithm Lab looks super confusing as well. Not sure how much I have to pay if I implement these in my code. Is it per query, per dollar amount, how the … it all works?
Is there a way to implement Lightspeed?
Everything looks so confusing at this point, are there any books, material, examples to read?

Hi Pablo,
When you're in the algorithm lab you have to click on create a new project and choose the lanuage you want to create it in, either python or C#, if you ever want to change this setting you have to navigate to “Your Account” and then there is an option to change preferred language.
This is where you create your new algorithm.
If you are looking for a guide/help on how to start with this I would suggest following this documentation segment;
Reading through all of these should give you a good idea of what to do, also there are example algorithms in a lot of the segments;
If you are looking for a buy high, sell higher strategy something like the opening range breakout as shown in the bootcamp might be a good start;
Everything is free from the get go, except live trading nodes and specific data but it is very likely that you won't need that specific data in the beginning.
The benefits of upgrading to a paid tier are faster backtests and no backtest delays for example. You can check out pricing here;
So as long as you have the free tier, you have no cost. Once you upgrade to a paid backtest node you are paying a fixed monthly fee for that.
Can you elaborate what you mean by "light speed?

Hey Pablo,
If by LightSpeed you meant the brokerage then I am sorry but this brokerage currently isn't integrated with QuantConnect, so you can't use it for paper trading or live trading.
This is the list of brokerages currently available to use with Quantconnect.
The "Paper Trading" is QuantConnect internal and you have to do nothing to set it up, however it is only paper trading as the name suggests.
For Equities(Stocks) trading currently you can only choose between Tradier Brokerage or Interactive Brokers.
