I was excited to read about a QC rest API that lets you pass in strategies and have them be backtested on QCs servers, before having the results returned to you.

I saw this rest API mentioned at the following links:

https://www.quantconnect.com/forum/discussion/284/backtesting-with-a-rest-api/p1https://www.quantconnect.com/forum/discussion/1018/compile-using-rest-apihttps://github.com/ryandhall/QCRestAPI

and it all sounded quite exciting. sadly, all the mentions of the rest api seemed to point to the following page as a central source of documentation and to describe how to use the REST API:

https://www.quantconnect.com/api/v2/

this page is bizarely layed out and has no information or links to an information that i can find. in fact it seems half made.

So what's the deal? is this rest api dead? i don't get why i can't find any real explanations of it being deprectaed or alternatives to it/why the link to the REST API documentation on QC is so broken/unproffesional looking, am i missing something here??
