SMA Backtesting for novice

Trying to backtest some SMA strategies for school project. Anyone know of free website or have code for this website that will do it? I dont know my way very well around comp. sci. and dont want to manually backtesting 30+ individual stocks

I would be fine with changing symbol and SMA numbers and running code that way

Welcome @Bradley! There are a number of examples of this in the QC University - the most specific for your case is probably the "EMA + SMA Indicators" algorithm which shows the generation of the SMA and uses it for trading.We also made a tutorial video for this case as its a very popular request.

You can add as many stocks as you like to a QC backtest, you'll just need individual SMA indicators for each symbol.
