Can one use Java to program? Or just C#?

Hi,

I am the first day here. As I click the menu Documentation, I see 'Learn C#' video etc. I don't know C#. Must I really learn C#? Or I can use the Java?

Regards

Hi,

I just read the document about "Quick Start to QC". At the very beginning it tells:
...
1.1 FUNDAMENTALS
1.1.1 Requirements
You'll need a good knowledge of C# to design powerful quantitative investment strategies. We provide a few helpful links in Section 2.0 to relevant video tutorial courses from the "Microsoft Virtual Academy".
...

Is this document already old?
