I am plotting my equity as a line chart, and i would like to annotate it so I can see exactly where trades took place.
It seems possible with Quantbooks, according to this post, but I'd like to do this in my algo's backtest. How would one go about doing this?

If you mean annotating the plots using words, then this is not possible at the moment. However, we can use scattered plots with different marker symbols to codify various things like trade entry. You can see an example here.

Unfortunately I dont see a scatter plot in the backtest you shared... did you share the right one?
I've attached a screenshot of what i see.

To view the scatter plot, we need to open the backtest in the Algorithm Lab. Clone and run the attached backtest to see the scatter plot.
We are working to resolve the issue of scatter plots being displayed as line plots in the backtest widget.
