Did someone say 'ridiculous backtest?'

Here's something I wrote over a year ago when I was just learning this platform. It is not recommended for live trading, for a variety of reasons. This algorithm uses a double MACD cross on second data. In this backtest, with 25k starting cash and little over a year, you would end up owning a quarter of CMG's total market cap. All this with only 13 thousand trades. It only works on expensive stocks, likely due to the lack of slippage modeling.

The compounding annual return of 7267639% is enough to buy all shares outstanding in the US in 1.85 years ($25 trillon). If you deposited that amount in a savings account today, you would earn 15 billion dollars a year in interest (APY 0.06%), enough to retire comfortably in today's economy.
Update Backtest

I think you just figured out how to solve the US national debt problem! :-P
