Thinking about how I would make an algo to find stocks hitting all time highs. Has anyone attempted this, or something similar before?

I've tried buying close to the 52 week high and low, didn't find anything memorable.

All time highs/lows and/or 52 week highs/lows can be a good starting point to find potential long/short candidates, but I'd suggest being aware of the traps around these points.
