Live Strategies in real Brokers

Hi,
Im a newbie, with a strategy that seems to work fine on backtests and papertrading.
I would like to try live in a real broker. But Tradier broker only allows US Residents (Im European), and Interactive Brokers, requires minimal 10,000$ deposit. Thats too much for me to risk, as im not sure how the strategy will behave with real fees, and order delays.

Anyone can share me your experience with IB ?

Thank you

IB as a brokerage is great. Opening IB account with 10K does not mean you will risk all 10K. It is up to your strategy how much you want to bat/risk/play with. Remaining portion can be invested where ever you want. If you are going live with IB and QC then you will have to provide your password to QC to login into IB which will be stored temporary in the RAM of QC computer somewhere. I am new as well and thus far my experience is great with QC historical testing. I and doing live with IB data on local computer but I don't like it (due to personal reasons). I like to go QC all the way one day once QC allows proper authentication/encryption to log into IB.

Is anyone trading live with IB with QC ?

I've been proving out a VIX rotational strategy running paper-live with IB for a while, going its fine. It had some issues over the weekend originally but now its pretty stable.

Your other options are: write a provider for any broker you choose. As long as the broker supports some sort of API, it should be fairly trivial to implement the IBrokerage interface for it.

In the UK, you could even use a spreadbetting firm like IG Index.

Yes, and then please submit a pull request so we can include it in the open source LEAN project and on the QuantConnect website :)

I am interested in trading through Tradeview Markets due to a deal I have, how much trouble is it to make the connection work reliably? Is there someone that will do this work here for a fee?
