Is there a recommended way to get all the individual stocks of an index, eg Nasdaq 100, in order to filter and add them to a universe?

Not that I'm aware of Fabien. I have seen implementations where they put a csv file containing the list of individual stocks belonging to an index in a Dropbox (shared drive) and then pull the information from there. The main disadvantage that I see with this approach is the list isn't dynamic. The stock list does not change depending on an algorithm's point in time. If you find a better solution let me know because I'm interested as well.

Hi Fabian, the index is a proprietary dataset we do not have.Â
Hi Jon, you can load a dynamic index via dropbox. The first column is time and subsequent columns are the tickers. There are examples in the universe docs header. The hard part is generating the universe :)
