The terms on the terms and conditions page seems to indicate that the IP Ownership continues with the authors while the Pricing page seems to not show a checkbox for Project IP ownership for non-trading firm and non-institution accounts. Can someone clarify how IP ownership works on Quantoconnect? Thanks.

Hi Ags,
In 99% of cases, individuals own their IP.
When a team member is added under a Trading Firm plan (i.e. employed consultant); the projects they create in the Trading Firm organization are physically stored and created in the Trading Firm organization account. The team member is given edit privileges to edit the Trading Firm's project.
When projects are created on a Team plan, the project resides with whoever created the project. The idea with the "teams" is to support people working in a high-trust environment like start-ups.
These exceptions are not spelled out in the QC Terms yet but we'll update it with an example soon. The goal was to provide a way for an employer, hiring algorithm developers, to maintain IP ownership of algorithms created on the QC ecosystem.
