Hi, in my algo I have two different parts one for day trading and the other for long term. I was wondering how to add a stop loss for only one part of it because I do not want it for the day trading part.

We recommend using a StopMarket order for the above purpose. We must store the OrderTicket so we can manage it during our backtest. For further assistance, please attach a backtest
