Hi, I am fairly new to algorithmic trading and just wanted to learn more from others' codes. In the following code, it never mentioned that the algorithm would be trading SPY but instead it is trading some forex pairs. Is it doing what it's supposed to do? Many thanks

Hi Malcolm Me,
In the above-attached backtest, if we look at the file ForexGalaxyBay.py, which is responsible for selecting the algorithm universe, we can see that it is selecting different Forex pairs, so the algorithm is trading on Forex.
We advise starting with simpler algorithms that can be found in the docs and strategy library.
