QUANTCONNECT COMMUNITY
I am new to quantconnect and interested in the research notebooks I can create from it. After creating the first project, it gives me a notebook to test out. Unfortunoutly, the cell it gives me outputs an error:
I have research all over but can't find anything helpful. I am running this notebook both on my local env and on the cloud and the same error persist.

Hi Angel
It looks like you're running from a local jupyter notebook. This will not compile the docker image of LEAN which is required to run the functionality of LEAN. Instead, follow this doc to run the notebook via the cli.

if you have lean research running, for exmaple:
lean research project_name --port 8881 Â --data-purchase-limit 0 --data-provider Local
you can connect you local notebook to it by changing the Jupyter server , for example in Pycharm:
otherwise you can go to:
http://localhost:8881/lab

I recommend changing the port from the default because something else will probably be running on 8888 and the lean research command wont give an errorÂ
