Accord.Net

Hi

I'm trying to use Accord.Net for its Machine Learning classes. As I understand it from previous discussions it used to work.

However when I try to use any class from Accord I get the following error message:

Algorithm.Initialize() Error: Algorithm type was not found. Try re-building algorithm. Stack Trace: at QuantConnect.Lean.Engine.Setup.BacktestingSetupHandler.CreateAlgorithmInstance (System.String assemblyPath, QuantConnect.Language language) [0x00050] in <7af17d06d0024189b13a6534ef2d8473>:0
at QuantConnect.Lean.Engine.Engine.Run (QuantConnect.Packets.AlgorithmNodePacket job, System.String assemblyPath) [0x00130] in <7af17d06d0024189b13a6534ef2d8473>:0 (Open Stacktrace)

Did a environment variable get reset again?

We have been working on a issue related to Accord .NET since we have upgraded it to version 3.3. We got it working with a specific library (statistics) but it's still failing with the others... almost there!

Awesome, thanks for the update!

Somewhat related: Is there an ETA when python packages such as sklearn will be available?

Unfortunately no.
We are still working on making the new python support (that enables third party libraries such as sklearn) available in the cloud.

Jared,

Thanks for the quick feedback, do you have a broad estimate on the timing for the fix ?
