I'm looking at the possibility of scheduling a stoploss check throughout the day in live trading. I really dont' want to increase my algorithm resolution beyond daily. In live trading, could I just check Securities[holding].Price every hour even when my resolution is set to daily? I'm thinking this might work in a live algorithm, but not in backtesting. Has anyone tried this?

You are correct Paul that price property will be updated intra-bar in live trading. We update the security holdings every tick to generate the real time plots in live mode. I've never tried your setup but its easy to test.

ok, great, thanks, I'm doing some paper trading for a while. I'll add that stoploss check in there.
