I think you need to use the helper(mentioned in docs, found on forum and linked below) to access quandl(due to security and other limitations is guess the python module is left out):

Since Lean/QuantConnect supports Quandl data importing, we are not going to add quandl python package.
If there is a feature that you miss, something that you can do with that package and cannot with Lean, please let us know so that we can work on that feature.
