Algorithm Parameters

How do we use the parameters in the "Algorithm Parameters" tab in My Projects?  If I make a parameter called StartCash how do I use it in my algorithm? StartCash as well as self.StartCash seem not to work. This is just an IDE question but I cannot find documentation on it.

I also wonder how one accesses the Algorithm Parameters in the IDE from the Python algo code?

Hi!

Please take a look at the example ParameterizedAlgorithm.py to see how it's done. The command is self.GetParameter("parameter-name-here").

This would be worth documenting, actually.

Thank you Douglas. This was a question that bugged me for quite a while and at the time I asked it I'm unsure if that example existed. Nice to have a a concrete example of use of the IDE.
