Hi QC,
I am trying to place limit order on live trading with GDAX, but keep receiving this error message.
Brokerage Warning: Order failed, Order Id: 1 timestamp: 1/8/2018 5:29:51 AM quantity: 0.2 content: {"message":"Margin currently not available for LTC-USD"}
The algorithm has been tested with paper trading and it was working well. There is also enough fund in the account. Just can not place any limit order.

I just figured out how to solve this issue.
The account type should be initialized as Cash type.

Thanks. I just built my first Algo using QuantConnect, and ran into syntax errors and margin problems. Thanks to you I got my first algo working!!

It is not very good...a buy and hold of bitcoin using GDAX. Just depends on what dates you put. 2019.2.3 to 2019.3.4 yields a 10.33% profit!

PS - I like the random backtest names given. At first, I was like, who is that using my resources...oh, that is my backtest. Duhhh!

Thanks Eric for sharing the solution to the problem you were having. GDAX is a non-margin, cash only brokerage, so AccountType.Cash should be specified in SetBrokerageModel(), as you have done.
