How can I short in crypto backtesting? SetHoldings("BTCUSD", -1) Does not make an order. Is there a setting that needs to be enabled somewhere?

Unfortunately, shorting crypto is not something that can be done yet. Because GDAX does not allow leverage or borrowing, the currency must be in your account in order to trade it. This extends to QuantConnect's backtesting environment.
