I'm trying to sell of all of the shares I own of a stock at a given time via limit order and then place a market order 10 mins later to sell off the remaining shares. Is it possible to adjust the self.Liquidate() function to place a limit order?

to sell, you can use stop limit order,check the link orders, and schedule events to
trigger code to sell.

Hey Duncan,
One way to accomplish this is by keeping track of the time when we place our inital LimitOrder and then calling Liquidate 10 minutes after that time.

if self.Time == exitTime and self.Portfolio[symbol].Invested:
self.limitTimeStamp = self.LimitOrder(symbol, -self.Portfolio[symbol].Quantity, limitPrice).Time
if self.limitTimeStamp is not None and (self.Time - self.limitTimeStamp) == timedelta(minutes = 10):
self.Liquidate(symbol)
