Hello all,
This is just an idea I have but are there any plans to include a connection/messaging feature where a QuantConnect user could connect with another user on the site? I was thinking it would be cool to get a notification when any of our connections post to a thread or just to discuss the API/strategies/algo trading in general with more like-minded individuals. At least for me, I would feel it would be beneficial to be able to connect and reach out to other avid users through the site!

On the other hand, it will not be good for the entire community, it will greatly reduce the collaboration between everyone and small and closed groups, and it destroys the whole purpose of radical democracy here ...

Both great points above. Currently, we can view the latest discussions any user has posted by visiting their profile page. Users sometimes publish links to their social media accounts on their profile page too, so we can utilize these to form channels of communication.
We are always looking for ways to increase the community experience on QC, and a built-in messaging platform may accomplish that. I've forwarded this idea to the rest of the team.
