Hi, I'm having trouble with this problem where every time I open a project on the bottom right it says "File extension is not valid." and I'm not sure if this is relating to the other problem but when I try pressing the build button, it says on Building... and never stops.

I can't seem to reproduce this issue. Is it just opening an individual project that causes this error, or is it with every project on your account?

I was recently faced with the same issue.Â
In my case, I wanted to change a file name and forgot the file extension by mistake. Afterwards I was not able to add the file extension to fix the error. The error message "file extension not valid" always came up. Also to continue with coding or to create new builds of my project was then no longer possible.Â
The good news: I found a simple workaround with Skylight. Follow the steps below and it should work again then.Â
