We're happy to announce a new AI Quant Support Agent named Mia, powered by hundreds of research articles, open-source code examples, and almost 1,000 pages of QuantConnect documentation.

We finished the thrust of our new documentation in July last year, shipping 910 pages of new documentation and covering 5,600 different topics. The vast amount of documentation was an intimidating resource for new users and went unread due to its size. We needed to make this easier to digest.

AI LLMs (Large Language Models) provide an excellent vehicle to explore this content and get relevant information promptly. We've given a human face to the agent, named Mia. Mia has been live in the public forums and our Discord channel for the last month, answering support questions. We have seen roughly 75% of the questions answered successfully within 2-3 minutes, and we'll continue monitoring to improve its omissions.

As a quant, context switching from coding to reading docs or forums can drag you from the flow of your work. To help with this, we've built a panel directly into the Algorithm Lab called "Ask Mia." This is a private, context-sensitive chat room with a dedicated AI agent. Is your code failing to build? Simply asking, "What's wrong" sends a sample of the code and the build errors to Mia for a quick code fix suggestion. Are backtest runtime errors not making sense? With minimal effort, Mia can interpret and give potential fixes based on the runtime error. Getting quick answers to questions and resuming your work will keep you in the flow and more productive.

The Ask Mia panel is available for all user types on the Cloud and Local platforms. Free users are capped to 5 questions per month, while the Bronze support tier has 25, Silver includes 125, and Gold has 250. We're proud to continue adding value to our existing products and reduce the learning curve for building your quantitative trading strategy.

Happy Coding!
