Hello everybody,
I'm trying to trade CFDs on quantconnect but there are some things I don't understand:
- Can we trade using FXCM? Because the documentation only talks about Oanda.
- What is the value of one pips for Oanda ? and FXCM ? (knowing that I trade the DE30EUR) Because when I get the minimum lot size I get 1 but what that means ?

Hi Cloud,
CFD trading is currently only available through Oanda.
Minimum lot size defines the minimum order size we can place. Pip is the smallest amount a security can change in price. Most currency pairs are priced to 4 decimal places. See Oanda's docs here for more information.

Because it's written that we can trade CFD in live with FXCM ? Please update your information if they are not true.

We will update the documentation to show FXCM as unavailable for CFDs.

Hi,
Yes but the problem with Oanda is that the minimum pips value is 1$ and that's too much for my strategy to work with little amount of amount (>1000$) so I guess I need to do it without quantconnect.
