Hi,
I have got an email with info on new CLI release. I have several questions on data downloader (using QC data):
- If I get it right, it is possible to use QC data in local backtest for 10 QC per symbol. But this option doesn't save the data locally?
- If I want to save it locally, I have to use --download-data option. But is than price the same (10 QC for symbol)
3. What if we need to update data? Do we have to download all data at one time and it costs 10 QC every time?
and most important for me
3. is it possible to use QC data in live trading too? I am the most interest in QC data / IB brokerage combo.

3, If I download minute data from 2000-01-01 to 2021-06-01. Than if I download data again in 2021-06-05, it will download data only for period 2021-06-01 - 2021-06-05? And the cost it again 10QC not matter how short the new data is? If we want same set up as QC, we should use factor and map files for 600$ yearly subscription?

Hi Mislav,
That depends on how you download your data.
If you use `lean backtest --download-data` it will see that you have 2000-01-01 - 2021-06-01 data and only download the missing data for the backtest (2021-06-01 - 2021-06-05) at 10 QC per file.
If you use `lean data download` you are prompted for the start and end date of the data that you want to download. If you specify 2021-06-01 and 2021-06-05 at this step, it will only download the missing data at 10 QC per file.
The factor and map files subscription is only required if you want to download US Equity or US Equity Option data for local usage.
