Log/Debug in BaseData Derived Class

I'm trying to use GetSource & Reader overrides and want to debug or log in these methods.  But, the autocomplete is a little lacking on these server-based projects, and I can't seem to get these methods (debug/log) to work in a BaseData derived class.  Help?

Hi Ted; custom types are invoked with reflection. They don't have access to the base class debug methods. Potentially if you've got issues you can throw an Exception which would be propogated up the tree and display in the main algorithm handlers.
